Contact Lens Fitting & Training

New to contacts? We offer a first time contact lens fitting & training service for $175.

If you are already familiar with contact lenses, you can update your prescription for $150.

See below for more details!

First-time contact lens fitting and training is a step-by-step process to ensure you receive the right lenses and know how to handle them safely and comfortably.

Here’s what to expect:

  1. Comprehensive Eye Exam
The process begins with a comprehensive eye exam to check your vision and determine your prescription. Our optometrist will assess the health of your eyes, measure their curvature, and evaluate tear production to determine if you’re a good candidate for contact lenses.

  2. Lens Selection and Fitting
Based on the exam, our optometrist will recommend the best type of contact lenses for you, whether it’s soft, or specialty lenses (like toric lenses for astigmatism or multifocal lenses). We will order you a trial pair, and schedule you for a follow up appointment for the insertion and removal training.

  3. Insertion & Removal Training
You’ll receive personalized training on how to insert and remove your contact lenses. This hands-on practice, guided by our optometrist, we will help you get comfortable handling the lenses, with tips on proper techniques.

  4. Care and Maintenance Instructions
You’ll also be trained on how to clean, store, and care for your contact lenses to prevent infections or damage. This includes instructions on proper hygiene, how to use lens solution, and when to replace the lenses.

  5. Ordering Your Contact Lenses
Once the prescription is finalized, you can order your new contact lenses. We can help with the order, or you can use the updated prescription to purchase lenses from a trusted retailer.

Any issues can be addressed, and changes can be made to the type of the lenses if needed. If you feel that the lenses aren’t a good fit for you, they feel blurry or uncomfortable, contact us for a re-fitting.

For an updated contact lens prescription, here’s what to expect

  1. Comprehensive Eye Exam
You will need a comprehensive eye exam to check your vision and determine your prescription. Our optometrist will assess the health of your eyes, measure their curvature, and evaluate tear production to determine the best type of lenses for you.

  2. Trial Lenses
After updating your prescription, we will order trial lens for you to take home and try out. Even if you’re used to wearing contacts, your eye shape or prescription may have changed, so it’s important to verify that the lenses sit comfortably and provide clear vision.

  3. Follow Up Appointment
Any issues can be addressed, and changes can be made to the type of the lenses if needed. If you feel that the lenses aren’t a good fit for you, they feel blurry or uncomfortable, contact us for a re-fitting.
